At the Balloon Fiesta you snap pictures as fast as you can and look for the surprises later. Here I captured the Eagle flying off with the Energiser Bunny in it's talons.
A few minuted later The Bees launched hand in hand, kissed, hugged and then became two separate balloons. I have seen these flying in the past but never knew they took off in tandem. The crowd, of course, loved it.
I think I'll send the Eagle and Bunny to the local TV station. It could become famous!

I knew someone would catch that energizer bunny someday. Who knew it would be the bald eagle-one symbol going after naother. McLuhan would be proud! YKW

I don't know if it was broadcast. I don't watch that often. It is on the website and they have a place you can rate a picture on a 1:5 scale. Five people rated it and my average was 4.8. There is also a total of the number of people that have clicked on the picture to take a closer look and that total is 472- more than most. The web address is http://kob.com Click on Your Photos" in the left hand column and then find the balloon fiesta section. I'm on page 3 now, although that my change if more photos are added.
