DonnaMarie named her. She was supposed to be her cat, out of 4 semi-feral kittens we got from one of our neighbors out here. We moved them into my house a couple weeks before we actually moved ourselves. The mice were taking over the empty house at the time. The plan was to move Pasha and one other to DM's house, but they had other ideas. Pasha bonded to me right away and followed me around like a puppy. (Often she was downright annoying.) I don't know what culture the name comes from, but it always sounded right for a Siamese cat. And this morning DonnaMarie told me she had a dream that Pasha was now somewhere in Egypt looking very much at home!

...and her long-distance friends, as well.
How did she come by her name?
You're in our thoughts with love, Sister.
Be well.

Nancy- I know how hard it is to lose a pet and she wasn't that old. Sorry for what you're going through. Katie
