We have an apricot tree that faithfully blooms every year during the warm spell that comes in February. Thoughts of juicy apricots make me drool. Then comes the one night freeze in March that kills all the budding fruit. But not this year. We have only had a few nights of above freezing low temps so the flower buds have stayed tightly closed. Maybe, just maybe, the lovely flowers will actually lead to tasty fruit. In the meantime, here are some pictures of our spring so far.
The last picture is the apricot tree on March 15.
